Is there a way to pull reports from JIRA Kanban tickets in next gen or classic version, since tickets get filed away from the board.
I am trying to use the board not only a task tracker, but also something I can refer to long term in case an audit is looking for details of the ticket/task.

What are you wanting in the report?
By the way, each board is attached to a filter which tells the board what issues to show and where on the board. That filter, is in an of itself, a report. :-)
The boards are just a way to view issues that exist in Projects. The issues remain in the projects even if they are not visible on the board. If the card has "aged off" the board because it was completed quite some time ago, you can still view the information for the issue by recalling it through Issue Search.
