×Hi there,
I recently linked my GitHub account, and the integration works fine. Whenever a new branch is created, a pull request is opened, or a PR is merged, it correctly links to the corresponding Jira issue.
I then set up automation rules to transition issues based on GitHub activity: for example:
Move the issue to "In Progress" when a branch is created
Move it to "Code Review" when a PR is opened, etc.
The automation itself works correctly. However, since implementing it, the link between GitHub and the Jira issue breaks. The issue no longer shows the associated branch or PR.
As a result, if an automation rule is triggered by a PR, the PR is no longer linked to the Jira issue.
The same happens for branch creation, PR merges, and commits.
Could someone help me understand why this is happening, and how to fix it?
Thank you,
Idriss
Hi @Idriss -- Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
When did the symptoms appear?
There has been a related, active incident since early today. Perhaps check if that is the cause:
Issues with data pipelines for customers using GitHub for Jira Connector.
