Pull Product Version Numbers automatically from JIRA

I am looking for a way or process that would allow me to automatically pull my products in JIRA version Number.  Presently this is performed manually.

You can "pull" the data via the REST API - see https://developer.atlassian.com/server/jira/platform/rest-apis/
