Project not showing in the project drop down when creating an issue

Tried creating an issue on Jira, but it doesn't show my desired project as an option in the project drop down menu. Please advise.

Hi Sunny - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Make sure you have Browse Project and Create Issues permission in the Permission Scheme for that Project.

This happens when you don't have permission to create issues in that project.

You'll need to talk to the project administrators, or possibly your Jira admins.
