Hi there,

I want to not show the 'done' tasks after completion but they still seem to linger around. What would be the best way to remove them (similar to how they disappear in Asana) so they don't clutter the view.

Best,
Ayrat.

Thank you for answers.
Found out how to fix this, in the project management template there seems to be a 'hide done items' option that takes care of this.

Welcome @Ayrat Maksyutov

For work management projects all of the issues dissapear after 14 days after staying on the board.

Alternatively, Kanban software development projects have the option to Hide the issues after being completed with the minimum number of 7 days.

As a workaround, you could make new project and bulk move the issues from your project management to the software project.

Hi @Ayrat Maksyutov, welcome to Atlassian Community!

Done tasks tend to "disappear" once a sprint is over on the Scrum Model.

If you have a Kanban Board, you can setup a limit of completed tasks displayed on your Done Swim Lane on Board Settings.

Alternatively, you can create a quick filter on Board Settings section as well, and filter StatusCategory != DoneScreenshot 2025-01-31 at 14.04.36.png

You can read more on Board Settings here: https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/configure-boards/

Hope this helps you!
