Hello @Davyd Timura

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The display on the right is an update to the UI that is in the process of being rolled out. Refer to this:

If you're having trouble removing columns for child issues, the issue might be related to permissions, the tool’s default configurations, or the way child issues inherit attributes from parent issues.

In platforms like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools, column visibility is often controlled at the board or project level. You may need to check:

  1. Board Configuration: Ensure that column settings allow customization for child issues. Some boards enforce default columns for consistency.
  2. Field Restrictions: Some fields may be required or locked due to workflow rules. Check if the column you're trying to remove is mandatory.
  3. Permissions: If you're working in a shared project, you may need admin rights to modify column visibility.
  4. Hierarchy Settings: Child issues often inherit fields from parent issues, limiting their customizability.
