Problem using Simple Custom Reports, Charts & Time in Status for Jira burnup graph

I'm using the burnup chart from Simple Custom Reports, Charts & Time in Status for Jira, and the data doesn't match the results of my custom filter. Using another gadget from the same app, I can see the total story points completed correctly using the same filter.

Using the same filter, the total done in the burnup chart is incorrect.
