Prevent converting text to hyperlink for a custom field

Hello,

we have added a custom field to our issues to track the build version which includes the fix. Like "Fixed in version" = 10.0.0.89 unfortunately that gets converted to a clickable link which is annoying and confusing. Is there a way to disable this feature for a single field?

please could you specify custom field type? if it is a version picker you can't disable that behaviour because it is a link to that specific version.

This is a free text to allow soemthing like 10.1a and such. I cannot pick from any predefined versions and it does not link to the releases page. A version like 23.9.0.20 links to https://23.9.0.20/ which is not desired.
