Preconditions in xRay

We are looking to display the test precondition on the main screen of the Test in xRay.

I do not see any option to do this, only the icon that one has to click on, to get to the Precondition screen.

One option would be to remove the Precondition and use a custom field instead, that we would have to place on the main screen of the Test.

But I do not see the way to remove / disable the built-in Precondition issue type.

Any suggestions?

Hi @Inna S ,

As you said, the Precondition issue links with other issues like Tests. You should be able to see high-level information (e.g. the Summary field) of the Precondition issue while viewing the Test's details. If this is not enough information, then as you also said, you would want to use a custom field instead.

The Precondition issue type can't really be "disabled", but you can just exclude it from the Issue Type Screen that your project using Tests/Preconditions has configured. Otherwise, the Precondition issue type could also be deleted though this is a more permanent solution.
