Post Function - Assign issue

Hello everyone,

I have a custom field called "Last Developer Assignee" and I want to assign the issue back to the last developer when this issue is released. 

The problem is that I can't find any options in the post function to meet my requirement. Do you know where I can set to assign the issue to custom field? Or any plug-in provides this function?

Hi James - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

What about using Automation for Jira instead of a post function? Then you could edit the Assignee field to use the value from the Last Developer Assignee field.

have you tried copy Value from other field?

Hi Jack, thanks for replying. I tried but not works. I don't want to copy value from custom field. The goal is automatic assign the issue to the custom field "Last Developer Assignee", who is the last one to submit the code.
