Is there a plugin that enables the possibility to view in Jira who is on vacation today and for how long?

@Ste Wright editing - need to see the list of tasks for an employee that is leaving for a vacation and assign them to another teammate both for the employee and for the manager. 

Best if there is a free plugin.

There is no out-of-the-box way to do so just yet. If these people can contact you as admin before in order to set different rules on assignment (to someone else) or maybe an automation rule which will comment on each ticket which is waiting for that person for a specified time - you are good. 

Otherwise, you might end up using plugins. There are several Apps out there: Jira apps | Atlassian Marketplace
