I have a question actually, not sure this is the right forum but here goes:

In JIRA Portfolio we have a schedule. We update the Schedule, Commit the change and subsequently the associated Jira ticket gets updated.  What about the reverse, i.e. we log work against a Jira ticket and let's say that ticket is now completed.  Does Portfolio in turn now automatically get updated as well?

Assuming that the JIRA ticket is included in the plan, it should be updated in the plan when a change is made in the JIRA project. That is suppose to be the beauty of Portfolio, right?  The team manages their workload and the reporting basically takes care of itself.
