Hi @Ismail Sanni  Welcome to Atlassian Community!

To get list of issues which are in  "In Progress" only on 31st January :-

status was in ("In Progress") ON "2023/01/31" AND status was not in ("In Progress") BEFORE "2023/01/31" AND status was not in ("In Progress") AFTER "2023/01/31"

To get list of issues which are in "In Progress" on 31st January, it includes all issues which moved to In Progress in 2022 or before 31 st Jan  :-

status was in ("In Progress") ON "2023/01/31"

Thanks,

V.Y
