Permission to developer roles to change workflow status to certain steps.

Hi All, 

I'm using JIRA core and I want to make sure that my developers can change upto some status for open issues we have in JIRA. I don't want them to close or reopen the issue. 

We have standard workflow for our project that has 5 steps: To-Do, Development, UAT, Reopen, Done. 

When issue is assigned to developer in To-Do state, they can only able to change status to Development and can't change status further to UAT or To-Do.

You can edit your workflow and add a Condition to each transition that you want to restrict. You will need to create a group and add members to that group that will be allowed to transition. You will use this group in the Conditions you set up.
