Permission Schemes and Automations

Hi

I can't seem to find the following in documentation.

Backgrund:

Alle my projects has a permission scheme. A project, lets say Orderi defined 2 roles:
OrderUser - Can browse and create, edit issues but not delete.
OrderAdmin Can delete

A user can then be either OrderUser or OrderUser and OrderAdmin.

All of this works great with my order permission scheme that then implements these permissions for the roles.

My order project uses automations heavily both Jira automations and ScriptRunner.

To allow the automations and scripts to run i have addded:

Application Access -> Jira Software to Project Permissions::Browse

When i do this all users can now browse the project. The permission helper i quite clear on this and that it is allowed.

My question is:

What is the correct way to ensure that automations and scriptrunner can operate within a permission scheme?

Thanks
Jens

@JensH Atlassian provides a couple was to run automations. You can run as a specific user or you can configure it to run as the user who initiated the automation.

I know some admins will creat an automation user and use that to running all their automations.
