Period Mode Changing, Incorrect Dates - BigPicture 8

Hello all,

In BigPicture 8, the period mode in my Gantt are randomly switching to auto-bottom up after I change it to manual. Additionally, my tasks have start/due dates that are visible in the 'task' section, but the taskbar is showing incorrect dates - it is actually showing only the date that the task was created or updated. For example, I create a task today with the start date of 3/11/21 and due date of 3/19 but the taskbar shows only 3/10 (date created) and when clicking on the task in the task bar it shows a start and end date of 3/10.

Can anyone help?
