Hi
I've been experiencing this for a while.
If you are on any page (it could be home, dashboard, another ticket) and you click Create, pasting an image and resizing it by entering a number in the size controls, when clicking Enter to confirm the resize, the page will refresh and you will loose what you were doing.
It's extremely annoying and only today it happened three times.
Additionaly, from time to time I paste images either on comments or while creating bug reports and they will fail to upload. The only way to bypass this is to refresh the page completely.
To minimize back-and-forth, here are all the characteristics I can think of.
Browser: Chrome (session logged in) - Has extensions
Image type: PNG
Issue type: Bug - I mostly write these, but I think I recall seeing it regardless of ticket type.
Steps for the resize issue:
1. On any page, click Create
2. On the Create modal, paste an image on the Description
3. Click on the image and using the numeric size controls, enter a number
4. Confirm with Enter
Actual result: Page will be refreshed.
----------------
Steps for the image failing upload:
1. With the same type of image (PNG), paste it on tickets (Create modal) or Comments.
2. Eventually (I haven't figured out a way to reproduce it consistently) it will fail to paste and will remain like this
If you tried to save the comment/ticket it will show an error message similar to this:
I will try to change the image type to JPGs, to see if it makes a difference. If I still see the issue I will report back.
I hope it helps. Let me know if you need more info.
Hi
It's not a solution, but it might be part of the problem you're describing. You could also upload a video for the Atlassian team to review
Regards
Hi Vronik. Thank you. I will upload a video. I just need to find a way to do that in the safest way possible, as I don't want to show company related data.
