PROCESS TO ADD USERS IN AN APPLICATION

I need to establish a procedure to create users in an application once the project will be in PRODUCTION.  Support and tracking of changes. I would like to obtain a flow describing such a procedure...Can anybody help ? Maybe a System Administrator or a Super User could create the groups and then put these users into groups of users. Can anybody help ? Send me a mail at ldea@besix.com

Hi @Larry Dea,

I have to assume when you mention "applications", you require a Jira Core Project to handle access requests to certain applications.

My suggestion would be if you want to control the procedure why not create a Jira Project with a new Issue Type solely for adding users onto an Application, such as "App Access".

Utilise Components for different applications so that on the creation of an App Access ticket (coined the ticket name now :D) the Component/s field is a required field.

Remove the Assignee field so that when the creator of the ticket assigns a Component (the relevant Application Administrator) that user is assigned to review the ticket information.

Thank you for the comments. They are useful but what I am looking for is a diagram or process flow illustrating how permissions are assigned to users and how users are created in an application.

Of course if some comments come with the process flow (diagram) that would be simply perfect.
