I can set the permission on a custom field that is locked for editing and release the edit for a specific user?

Hi Fabio,

You can now use Protected Fields https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1226228/protected-fields?hosting=cloud&tab=overview to lock the view / edit of a field.

Note works in the new Atlassian Cloud Issue View.

You can set security levels and modify what role, group, etc can view issues set at that level.
