Original estimate not populating

Hello, we use the Original estimate field in our cards, but when I want to view the whole board for the active sprint or backlog, the field for Original estimate doesn't populate even though you can see the grey oval where the figure should be.

I've look in the project setting, but I can't see anything helpful here. This is obviously a pain when sprint planning.

Any advice will be appreciated.

I suspect your issues of non-populating field should be due to a configuration activity.
