One of my staff members cannot see the Kanban Board I created, while the other team members are able

Hi,

I have created a few Kanban boards within a project, each using a different filter that I saved as a component.

Recently, new issues have been created, but one of my team members is unable to view the Kanban boards. However, they can access and view the issues where I have commented on them.

Could you please help me understand why they cannot see the Kanban boards, even though they have access to the project and the issues?

Thank you.

Hi @Syina Salman

Welcome to the community.

@Walter Buggenhout is right here.

Check your filter permissions, best is to share this filter with the space.

Thank you.

I’ve checked the filter permissions, and the filter is already shared with the group that includes the staff member who cannot view the board.

The staff member is therefore part of the group that has access to the filter, but they still cannot see the Kanban board.

Could there be another permission or board configuration that I should check?

Does the user have permissions on the space this relates to?

Does the filter include work items from multiple spaces, is the users permitted to access all these spaces?

Hi @Syina Salman and welcome to the Community!

In most cases, this is related to permissions on the filters you created for those boards. After creating and saving those filters, do make sure you have shared them with your users properly.

Have a look at that first before anything else. Hope this helps!

Also related to other permissions @Marc -Devoteam- is referring to. Can you check the Board location and make sure that the user has access to that specific space (or move the board to a space if it happens to be linked to your user profile)?
