On an existing set of issues i need to update data in two new custom fields created. Can I upload?

I have some old issues which I recently migrated to JIRA. I need to add the legacy creator and creation date, for which I have created custom fields. These are 100+ issues already created. I want to further add these two values on it. How to add through upload? I dont want to manually add on each of the 100+ issue.

Please recommend.

You can use a CSV upload to add the field values you need. You will need to prepare a file with the issue keys and new values

You can update the fields value based on a csv import.

I am unable to update the existing issues as the “Issue Key” is not available in the drop down for mapping. Please check enclosed screenshot.

confusingly there are two types of csv import

If you need to update existing issues navigate to Admin >> System >> IMPORT AND EXPORT >> External System Import >> CSV  and under this import option the "CSV Importer"  the Issue Key is a valid
