Hi!
We have a little Problem with our sprints. Everything is working so far except once we complete our sprint and start a new one not all of our unresolved issues are moved to new sprint. We have the following workflow satuses:
To-Do:
In Progress:
Done:
The normal Workflow with all transitions is working fine, and all issues from To-Do and In Progress states are moved to new sprint, except the "Waiting for Approval" state.
We checked all different kind of configurations but we do not have any clue why only this specific status is not moved to new sprint.
Maybe somebody have a hint or a clue for us :)
Thank you in advance!
What column on the board is "waiting for approval" in?
Hi Nic,
thank you for following up this issue. I've attached our board configuration.
Once i´ve looked on this configuration i noticed the green status for "Waiting for Approval" - maybe this is causing the behavior?
So i´ve now changed the configuration to this form ( we initially wanted to not have Done Column in our Sprint board, because for us Done issues do not have any relevance in overview. )
Cheers,
Philipp

Your changes have fixed it, but not because of the colour.
The problem was occurring because "waiting for approval" was in the right-hand column, which to Jira Software means "done". Done issues do not carry over to the next sprint, because you've done them and they need no more work.
You've corrected this by making "done" the "done" column, and "waiting for approval" now means "not completed in this sprint, so carry it over".
Stick with your board configuration, it's now correct, but feel free to change the "waiting for approval" from blue to green if that would be helpful to your users!
