Omit specific fields from cloned tickets

Hello,

If Jira ticket ABC-123 is cloned (ABC-123-1) is there a way to omit the end date field from the parent ticket from copying to the cloned ticket?

unfortunately there isn't any way to configure the fields for cloning process. you could remove the date using automation after creation.

Thank you Jack! So an automation could be used after creation to modify the fields of the PMO's choosing after the creation of the cloned ticket? Apologies for my question but I just want to be clear on this.
