Old custom fields showing up in issue move between next-gen projects

I have 2 next gen projects. 

In Project A, awhile ago, I had added some custom fields in my 'Bug' issue type. Later, I removed them (now Project A bugs have no custom fields). When I try to now move a bug from Project B (also no custom fields) to Project A, it asks me to fill in all these custom fields that I'm no longer using. How do I get rid of these completely?

I solved this - I had removed the custom fields from the creation screen but I needed to delete them altogether (from the right-side menu that lets you drag and drop fields into issue types)
