Official documentation on cloud jira.text.field.character.limit

Is there an official documentation that states that jira.text.field.character.limit on Jira Cloud default to 32,767 characters and cannot be changed? Also, is there an official documentation that mentions that the summary character limit is 255? 

I wish to refer to this document in the future if this value ever changes.

Welcome to the community! It looks like there have been a few tickets related to that - https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-63007.

I would watch the ticket to see if there are any updates to it. I don't anticipate that changing.
