Jira server version: 8.7.1
We are experiencing a very odd behavior where my fix version release is somehow getting its start and release dates added, when a Jira ticket gets assigned to that fix version. When we attempt to remove the dates from the start and release fields for a fix version it does not take. It seems to be defaulting both start and release date to the activity of associating my Jira tickets to a fix version. We haven't notice this behavior before, is this the default behavior for assigning Jira tickets to a fix version in release?
Really appreciate any insight on this.
