I don't see this listed anywhere in the Jira Cloud "release notes" (such as they are) but I got back from a week's vacation today and I am seeing sections for "Linked Work Items" and "Child Work Items" on issues even when there are no linked\child issues present.
Is this part of some Rovo hallucination? Is everyone else seeing this? I don't mean to be glib or snarky, but in the 5+ years I have been administering Jira Cloud I cannot remember ever once having an unexpected visual change make me happy.
It's a new feeling, and I like it.
You could be hallucinating @Haddon Fisher 😅
I've checked a couple of sites and I couldn't see this behavior anywhere (incl. enterprise instances).
But, I'm guessing this is some kind of experiment they are running, as I also didn't see any announcements or release notes for such a feature.
I'm not sure what to think about it... Definitelly need to see it first to have some kind of judgement 😅
Tomislav Tobijas you can see beneath the "Description" field there's now sections for "Child work items" and "Linked work items" - I want to say these would only appear previously if there was at least one existing child or linked issue, but as you can see I have neither and both are present.
When you click the "add..." flavor text you get the normal prompts for issue key, or as in the screenshot below, issue key + relationship.
