Notifications on Bonfire Test Session Assignments

Jeffrey White
March 25, 2013

Is there a way to fire a notification when a Bonfire Test Session is assigned to a user so that the user knows they have that session?

Greetings,

When Bonfire creates a ticket, it can leverage the Issue Created event in the notification scheme. More specifically, you would want to trigger the current assignee.

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/AOD/Creating+a+Notification+Scheme

Bonfire specific events, however, are not exposed to JIRA and consequently not a part of the notification scheme. You can check out the feature request for adding this functionality and vote/comment on it to help raise the priority.

I hope that helps!

Cheers,

How does one trigger the current assignee? Is this even still possible with the change to Capture? Thanks,
