Notification email before x days - how to?

Hi All,

one project wants to join to our Jira. They use deadline notifications: when the due date is set then a notification email will be sent out x-3 days, x-1 day and x-5 hours.

I'd like to ask whether this functionality can be achieved in Jira too?

And also for hours?

The simple option - define a filter that listes the issues that fall into the ranges, and then use filter subscriptions.
