Not seeing the ability to create a next-gen project

I am not sure if I am missing something but I do not see the option to create a next-gen project in my create project screen. Is this not included in the premium plan in jira software?

Hi Patrick - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

It might not be turned on at the system level. You will need to be a Jira Administrator, but go to Settings > System > Global Permissions

Then at the very bottom there will be a permission for Create team-managed projects. Check the permission for that and update as needed.

got it! It was simply on the next screen after choosing the project template type
