Hi Team,
I am not able to sync chatter comments from SF to Jira using Service Rocket connector. On Jira issue under Salesforce Comments, it is showing error - Case object is not available for the connection bound to this project. To ensure Case comments are visible, add Case to the list of supported objects.
In our case we have a binding defined between Issue type Bug and a custom object in Salesforce "Tier Escalation". Is it possible to sync comments from custom object's(Tier Escalation) chatter feed to Jira?
Any help would be highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Navjot Aujla
Hi Navjot,
This is Danny from ServiceRocket.
Regarding the question,
Is it possible to sync comments from custom object's (Tier Escalation) chatter feed to Jira?
At the moment, this feature is not available right out-of-the-box. The synchronization of chatter feed from Salesforce to Jira, is currently only supported by Case objects.
For your use-case, there is an existing feature request created in our Ideas Portal as below:
We strongly encourage you to up-vote it and leave your thoughts in the comments. This requires you to create an account and login, but it is fairly simple and fast. Up-voting is important as you will start receiving notifications when there’s an update made to the ticket. Through this, your feature request goes through proper prioritization and review by the Product Team based on the community demand, feasibility and effort. Rest assured, no feature improvement/ideas are taken for granted.
Hope this helps!
Best Regards,
Danny
