Not able to associate my project to a Issue Type Scheme in JIRA

Ram Dafe

We are not able to associate a Project to a newly created Issue Type Scheme. We have a Team Managed project.

Could you please provide your inputs?

Team-managed projects do not use schemes for their configurations, they have local internal and non-shared configurations.  You'll need to add your issue types inside the project configuration, by hand.

Hello @Ram Dafe

For Team Managed projects, the project admin can directly add the required issue types. The Team Managed projects do not make use of schemes.

Navigate to Issue Types from Projects settings to add a new Issue TYpe

Please refer to the below screen for the same.

Please accept the answer if this helps solve your query else respond and allow others to share input.
