Not able to Create Classic Projects. Next Gen Projects getting Automatically created

Am unable to create a general project in JIRA. It is automatically creating a next-gen project. Data of Next Gen projects is not being displayed in drop downs in other pages. Say, While creating Dashboards, Am not seeing my projects being listed in "Project" menu .

To create a classic Jira project, you need to be a Jira administrator.

Hello Alex,

In the newer version of Jira, A Normal User has the privilege to create a Classic Project and I need not be an Administrator.We already created couple of Projects using Next Gen. 

Could you let me know if there is any option to revert to Classic Version of Jira. In the Newer Version, we dont have most Options used in Classic Versions.

There are  two types of projects: classic and next-gen. Users without admin permissions can create only next-gen projects.
