Not Able to close the sprint

Its says its closed, but its not closed really, the old sprint is again showing in the backlog.

Because of this , I am not able to start the new sprint, This is so frustrating.please help. Attaching the Screenshots

Are all the issues (and their sub-tasks, if any) in the last (rightmost) column in the board when you close the current sprint?
