I have deleted some team-managed projects whilst setting up Jira. These were deleted as we moved to a company managed project instead. However, when viewing the boards, there are three boards that are showing in the drop down that no longer exist. How do I make these go away?
I found out that you have to permanently delete the project from the trash for them to disappear. Thanks for your replies.
Hi @Kirsty Halkett ,
Could you maybe share a screenshot of what you're seeing as there are multiple places where 'boards' can be viewed. Additionally, team-managed projects don't use the same 'Boards' that are natively used in company-managed projects, so I'm trying to understand better what your use case is :)
To delete a board, follow the instructions as detailed here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/how-to-delete-a-software-board-in-jira-cloud-1369637429.html
You'll notice that 'team-managed boards' cannot be removed this way, but they should disappear if you have trashed/removed the project itself.

Hi Hans,
I believe these were the original team-managed boards. These projects have since been deleted and are in my trash. When I tried to view them I receive an error message.

Hello @Kirsty Halkett
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
How have you determined that the boards no longer exist? What happens when you try to access them?
