No apps connected to organisation

Aodhgan Gleeson September 21, 2020

I am org admin. A user (me before becoming org admin) has installed the Github integration thru the marketplace but now administration -> connected apps shows "No apps connected".

In the Jira -> manage add-ons, it shows the app as installed under the user level, with only the option to uninstall.

How can I make this app show under "connected apps" at the org level?

Hello @Aodhgan Gleeson,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The Connected apps are different from the Manage apps. Although both are related to add-ons, on Connected apps we can see the apps that require further authorization to connect to your Cloud site.

For example, Jira Cloud for Spreadsheets, it's an add-on that needs to perform actions on behalf of the user, so it will appear on Connected apps.

With that said, it's correct that Github only appears on Apps > Manage your apps.

Regards,
Angélica

Hello Angelica,

Thanks for clarifying that.

I am unsure then why I cannot see the Developer information panel in our Jira issues? As per https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/configuring-development-tools-938845350.html

Thanks

Aodhgan

Thank you for sharing the documentation, @Aodhgan Gleeson. This doc is for Jira Server, so those steps won't work in Cloud.

Please, follow the steps of the documentation below to connect Jira Cloud and GitHub:
