This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Allowing users to create issues anonymously

The documentation states:

"Allow users to browse and search issues in the project without logging in.

Add the Anyone group to the Browse Project permission in the permission scheme for the project."

However, there is no "Anyone" group in our project permissions settings. We only have:

Project Role
Application access
Group
Service Desk Customer - Portal Access
Reporter
Current assignee
Single user
Project lead
Group custom field value

Is it possible to allow anyone to browse the posted issues?

Ah, you've misunderstood the doc, although, having just re-read it, I can see how easy it would be.

It's not a case of adding a permission from the list you've given here in the question, it's a parameter for one of the options.  "Anyone" is actually inserted into the "Group" option on the list.  Select Group, and it will ask you "which group?" and offer you a list of all the groups in your user directory, AND "anyone"
