Next-gen Jira: how can 'Done' epics be hidden from the board?

Epics have been marked as 'Done' and their due date has passed. There seems to be no way to filter the board so that we can hide completed epics. Help!

Hello Jono,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

I understand that you have configured your Next-gen board to use Epic swimlanes (Like in the Screenshot below) and you are needing to remove Epics from the board once they are Done. Is it correct?

If that's what you are looking for, you must resolve all the child issues in order for the Epic to disappear from the board view. This is how it works:

1 - If you are using Sprints, the Epic will disappear as soon as the Sprint is resolved together with all the child issues

2 - If you are not using Sprints, the issues will disappear together with the epic after 14 days in the Done column. We have a feature request to improve this behavior: JSWCLOUD-17295

Let me know if this information helps.

@Petter Gonçalves That's helpful; thanks. We're no longer using sprints so look forward to JSWCLOUD-17295 getting done.
