Next Gen View EPICs assigned to each ticket in Search and Filters

Allyson Gallant November 2, 2018

I have a next gen project with a bunch of EPICS and tickets assigned to those EPICS.

When I go to Search and filter within search there is no way to filter tickets by a specific epic.

  • When I select Epic Link as a filter option it's displaying all of my epics, but marking them as unlabelled (see screenshot)
  • When I select epic name - the results are blank.

I just want to see all my tickets and all the associated epics in one view. and download that view to a CSV. All of that functionality exists in the old JIRA .

It looks like the only way to see which tickets are associated with an EPIC is to click into the EPIC from the roadmap and see all the child issues.

Hi @Allyson Gallant

That's right! For now, the only way to see the issues related to an epic is to click into the EPIC from the roadmap and see all the child issues. That being said, we already have this feature request in place and the developers are looking into it. You can find it here. You can add yourself to the watch list so that you are notified when the requested feature has been implemented.

Cheers,

Ammrit
