Hi service desk,
I wanted to create two projects, one provide a broader view of multiple team's epic cards, while the other one provide a view of a single team's epic cards.
For instance:
Infra projects (a project view that shows all infrastructure team projects in a single view)
Data Centre projects (a project view that shows only the projects belong to the DC team)
I like to know if this is possible without duplicating the same epic card and it's respective child issue cards.
Thanks
George
Hello @George Ho,
Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Next-gen projects are independent of other next-gen and classic projects. It means that Epics created on a next-gen will be visible only to that project's board.
Also, the Boards in next-gen don't have the Board settings menu, so it's not possible to edit the filter to show Epics from other projects.
The workaround, in this case, would be to create the next-gen projects that you need, but then create a separate classic board where you can edit the filter to show the Epics you need the teams to see.
To create the board, click on the search box on the top of the site and select "Boards".
Then, click on Create board > Select Scrum or Kanban > Board from an existing Saved Filter > Add a name, select the filter with the Epics, and on Location, select your profile.
Please, give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Regards,
Angélica
