Next-Gen Project Views

I'm working on a Next-Gen project in which I have added an Issue Field.  The field is intended to indicate what type of external blocker is affecting the issue.  I would like to have my backlog view show this field.  Below is a mockup of what I am looking for.

How do I do this?

As you may know, JIRA Next-gen is still a lab feature and was implemented to give a simpler and "straight to the point" solution for those customers who felt overwhelmed by the complexity of JIRA Classic projects.

That been said, Next-gen has a limited number of features which does not include the customization of the board/backlog cards, however, we created a feature request to get it implemented:

- Ability to customize cards in next-gen projects

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.
