Hi @aicha.cavazos - Make sure the user has the Manage Sprints permission in the Permission Scheme attached to the project.

Welcome to the community.
It depends on the permission scheme if an administrator can manage sprints or not.
So best will be to check the permissions and add the user that should be able to manage sprints to a role that is listed in for that permission.
