Hi All

We are running jira on Windows platform. I want to make sure that each night a new stdout log file is created. At the moment a new stdout log file is only created if i restart jira (jira as a service).

Sometimes the log files become very big (5-10 GB) if the jira instance has been running for months without restart. It is not very useful browsing a 5 GB log file as it takes ages to load.

Any suggestions on how I can achieve this will be great

Rahul
