Hi,
Using Jira Software, we added a new project role named "Developer" for our project. We want to post internal comments visible only to Developers users.
After adding the new project role, it is not displayed on the dropdown menu when posting a comment as you can see on the picture. We only have the option of All Users or Administrators.
Any help about it will be really appreciated.
@Sergio, welcome to the community. I have not played w/ this TBH so can't provide you a proven answer on my part. What I would suggest is to review this article and if that doesn't help this thread. In the article it refers to how to configure the Comment Visibility options so surely would start there.
Thank you so much @Jack Brickey !!!
The article on the thread made it.
I just did this and it worked!
Workaround 2:
Add a JIRA-Administrator to the each of the other Project Roles. Refresh the comment page and the additonal Project Role will appear in comment page.
Thank you so much!
