New instance installation DC v/s cloud

If we are exploring for green field installation (new installation), can we opt for Data center model instead of private cloud? If yes what version would be recommended?  If no, which version on cloud.

Hi @Kruti and welcome,

my suggestion is to install the last long term release available (https://confluence.atlassian.com/enterprise/long-term-support-releases-948227420.html). On the cloud side you don't need to choose a specific version because Atlassian will manage application version for you.
