New addons for JIRA if license is not renewed

Hi!

is it possible to install new paid JIRA plugins, if JIRA license support time is expired but not yet renewed?

also - if license hasn't been renewed for several years and now we decide to obtain new - the price is the same and it grants possibility to get latest JIRA version?

Yes, the plugin licences are separate, so you can install them.

If licences have expired, then you've got two options - renew and pay maintenance for the missing period, or just buy new ones at full price (i.e. do not renew) The first option is more expensive if your licences have been expired for more than a year. So I'd definitely just buy new ones.

A valid licence entitles you to ALL versions of Jira released before the end of the licence period.
