Need to refresh only cloned project in Sandbox from production

We have Cloned all the project say X ,Y and Z from Production environment in cloud to a Sandbox. later in Sandbox we have created three new project- such as A,B and C 

Now we need to refresh only project cloned from Production environment such X ,Y and Z in sandbox. However the three new project we have created after cloning say A, B and C should not get affected while refreshing X ,Y and Z project in sandbox

How to achieve this? Is there any way to take back up of A, B and C project before refreshing?

On copy from production to sandbox there is a beta option form cloning multiple projects projects.

See documentation, what-data-is-copied-to-sandboxes in the section Copy specific spaces or projects.
