Need to make issue report which pulls in data from the Epic level

I have a required to create an issue report which shows all the issues for a project, but in the same row as the issue it also includes data from the epic that the issue is related to. This seems like it should be a simple thing, but I cannot figure out how to make this work.   I have search here as well but have not seen a similar request.   Help please, Dave.

Hello,

Go to the Issue Navigator (magnifier icon) and type 

project = yourproject

And add to the query result the Epic Name field.
