I need information on what I can do to get access to view assignees and other jira data returned in a reply. So far this has been unsuccessful as I get authentication errors and the body of the reply just says Sign in. I have signed into jira2.cerner.com and created a api key, this api key however still doesnt allow access. Even tried encoding to base64 and no luck

Are you working with a self-hosted Jira system or the SaaS Jira Cloud system?

What documentation have you referenced for how to authenticate in order to use the APIs?
